Capture the Flag
Two teams, ten light-up beacons, sixty seconds. The fastest way to get a whole class in the air — and the most fun they'll have learning to fly.
Red against Blue on a field of glowing beacons. Fly over an enemy beacon to flip it to your color, and own the most when the buzzer sounds to take the round. Matches run a single minute, so a class can play a full tournament in one period — and no one sits out for long, because there's always another game about to start.
How it works
Every beacon begins on the enemy's side of the field, so the whole board is in play from the first second. Capturing one means flying over it at the right height — controlled, not reckless — and clipping your own beacon by mistake flips it straight back. Close it out by landing on your pad before time runs out for the bonus. Simple to grasp in one round, hard to master by the tenth.
Flight training in disguise
Every match drills the fundamentals without ever feeling like a drill. Holding a beacon rewards clean altitude and throttle control. Tracking the field builds situational awareness. Two-on-two forces real teamwork and spacing. And the clock teaches students to read a moment, commit, and stick the landing — the same instincts a real flight test rewards.
Up and running in under a minute
Open the link on any Chromebook or laptop. No accounts, no installs, nothing to configure. Press play and computer drones fill the empty seats, so even a single student drops into a full match; share the invite link and the room fills with real teammates instead. That's the entire setup.
It's modeled on real drone-sport beacon games, so the flying students master on screen carries straight to a physical drone on a real field.
